Job Title: HR Assistant (Entry Level, Temporary)
Location: Seattle
Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week), Temporary (Up to 6 Months), Hybrid Remote/On-site

About the Role
Were seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This position will cover for a paternity leave within the HR department, with a duration of no longer than 6 months. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources. Youll primarily focus on supporting the administrative functions of the HR team while also assisting with aspects of talent acquisition.

What Youll Do

  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including coordinating orientations and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Process background checks and follow up on results as needed.
  • Conduct periodic I-9 audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and managing pre-employment processes.
  • Help respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related topics.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Pay:

  • Starting Pay Range: $24.00-26.00/hr (Non-exempt) (Depending on experience)
  • Full Pay Range: $22.38-32.38
