- Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum one year experience working with an enrollment management CRM (e.g. Slate)
- Current knowledge of higher education admissions recruitment. Excellent understanding of the workflow from project inception to completion.
- Previous admission counselor experience with application review experience required.
- Diplomacy and skill in interpersonal relations, to effectively interface with many personalities in many disciplines. Ability to work with a diverse, integrated team and a healthy work-place culture. Has proven leadership abilities in a collaborative team environment. Excellent ability to make sound business judgment and decisions.
- Able to successfully manage multiple projects while maneuvering sudden changes of direction.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and productively under deadline pressure. Creative ability to continually seek to understand and utilize new technologies and trends to best serve students.
- Proven managerial skills including people, mentoring, project. Excellent understanding of team dynamics.
- Ability to solve complex problems, develop and implement strategies and achieve goals with minimal supervision.

- Develops and implements methods of measuring and stimulating application growth
- Collaborates with staff, faculty, administrators and internal departments to research and resolve complex student issues relating to admission, direct admission, yield and application completion. Presents admission and registration information to a variety of audiences.
- Produces ad-hoc deliverables critical to operational and leadership decision-making
- Develops dashboard reports and project tracking models to measure the impact of metrics over time
- Lead effort to organize department wide trainings to improve admission operations
- Organizes, develops and administers the department’s policies and procedures pertaining to department protocol and admission policies for undergraduate admission and institutional resources, policies and procedures.
Duty/Responsibility
- Be an active member of the operations and admission leadership team who assists in the development of policies, processes, programs and initiatives designed to increase enrollment while maximizing efficiency, effectiveness and accountability to the institution.
- Plans, organizes, maintains, and manages the processes and operations of admission; manages activities of the admission department to include planning, implementing, administering and evaluating projects and services impacting admissions operations.
- Responsibilities include helping to define objectives, setting deadlines, maintaining a calendar of projects, as well as monitoring progress toward successful completion of the creative product.
- Manage various special projects assigned by the AVP, communicating goals, deadlines, deliverables, and status to relevant stakeholders and soliciting feedback from suitable parties.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain resources, reports, and statistical summaries.
Duty/Responsibility
- Support all Direct Admit process efforts from file review, GPA recalculation and operations/processing
- Read, review, evaluate and process applications for admission and rule on admittance within established guidelines (domestic, first year and transfer).

- Supports short and long-term enrollment planning efforts related to policies and procedures documentation and information sharing
- Support territory management outreach related to applications and yield efforts
- Supports communications with internal and external stakeholders

- Develop, maintain onboarding procedures for new and part-time admission staff. Assist managers with onboarding of new staff.
- Coordinates system-related efforts with the IT department as appropriate, approving requests for new accounts.
