Engineering Tutor--Tutoring and Academic Support Center (non-benefited)
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the tutor is to provide support to students enrolled in the Engineering program. These courses include but are not limited to: Engineering courses, Calculus I,II,III, Physics, and General Chemistry I & II. The Engineering option provides students with the technical coursework and laboratory experience that enables them to succeed in undergraduate engineering programs. Students taking this option plan to transfer into Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Materials, or other related engineering degree programs enroll in this option. Tutors must be able to relate to and work with students individually and in groups, in-person and remotely, exercise good judgment, and provide effective feedback to students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related area is required.
- In-person and possibility of remote work.
- Weekdays, weeknights and weekends available.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.

Pay rate: $32.64 an hour at 18.5 hours a week (non-benefited).
