Our Planning Coordinator is responsible for daily service order coordination which includes contacting customers, data input, site visits, basic design and scheduling. You will work with our project management team (both local and national) within the Power Delivery group, to assure seamless delivery of customer service.

- Simple service order requests
- Setting up project folders
- Pulling Geographical Information System (GIS) map data related to projects
- Transformer Load Management (TLM) 13-month history on existing transformer loads
- Preparing emails to customers
- Calculating and preparing documentation for engineering fees
- Prepare and submit engineering field check requests
- Process conflict check requests and comparison checks
- Apply for permits and traffic control plans and prepare proper scopes of work on permit requests
- Submit for environmental review
- Prepare orders for temporary service requests and/or RFS
- Utilization of templates for simple processes such as service orders and/or communications when applicable
- Monitor for receipt of payment and receipt of pre and post inspection releases
- Check Builders Services Portal (BSP) for customer data entries or questions and verify status
- Updates on BSP as appropriate milestones are achieved to provide timely updates to customers.
- 2+ years of experience in Administrative/Financial project control or related roles. (Required)
- 2 to 4 years of experience in electrical service standards. (Required)
- Proficiency with MS Excel and/or other related software. (Required)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in scheduling or office-support function, especially in public utility or consulting engineering. (Preferred)
- Experience with dash boarding and cloud-based project management tools, including PowerBI, Smartsheet, Procore. (Strong plus)
The pay range for this California position is $26.00- $30.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
