Research Assistant
Job Description
Intensive research and scholarly work on gyn research projects. The Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology Department has an opening for a Research Assistant.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preclinical research and development under the review of a principial investigator for the technology development and implementation for the preclinical cancer research.
- Prepare biological in vitro and in vivo samples for irradiation, imaging, and histopathological assessment.
- Coordinate with technical and administrative resources in the experimental cores and other collaborative labs for the conduction of the research projects.
- Assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts.
- Present research projects at meetings and conferences.
- Perform data collection and/or statistical analysis for various research projects.
- Assist with tasks on other research projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Some related experience.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants who have MS or PhD with two-year experience in preclinical research will be preferred.

Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 Targeted; Commensurate with experience)
