About the Role:

Serving as a data steward for the Company's commercial organization, ensures overall quality of data across different data sources. Executes standard data stewardship processes tied to monitoring and maintaining data quality with minimal guidance. Supports other members of the Data Management team with executing small projects and overseeing various aspects of external vendor operations on a day-to-day basis. Partners with other members of the Commercial organization, Field teams, and IT to proactively resolve data issues.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Runs QCs on Neurocrine's commercial data. Notifies internal stakeholders and manager regarding the status of data quality and impact of data issues

  • Executes data stewardship activities as defined by standard, documented processes from Data Management, Field Operations or other Commercial teams. Updates and refines data stewardship activity documentation as appropriate

  • Addresses data change requests and inquiries from field personnel, especially those related to Patient Portal, master data management (MDM), attestation forms, and others driven by standard, documented processes

  • Tracks data-related requests, questions, and issues and provides timely resolutions. Collaborates with external vendor team(s), when appropriate, in resolving issues

  • Uses troubleshooting techniques to solve problems and escalates more complex issues to manager or senior members of the team

  • Assists in preparing standard and ad-hoc data reports, metrics, and presentation materials for quarterly business reviews with data vendors and partners

  • Supports peers and senior members on the team with small projects

  • Applies departmental QC and processes when running analysis and pulling reports

  • Assists compliance team with their data and reporting needs

  • Works with internal stakeholders such as Field Operations, Commercial Analytics to resolve routine data issues

  • Performs other job duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in computer sciences, engineering, math, or other technical discipline and 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech or related industry experience, including sales and/or marketing analytics or operations, executing quantitative analysis of sales information experience. Some experience with third party biopharma data vendors and data sources in the biopharma domain, including IMS/IQVIA (e.g., Xponent Plantrak, DDD), SHS, specialty pharmacy, patient claims, healthcare organization affiliations, etc. OR

  • Master's degree and some related experience

  • Possesses outstanding computer skills, excellent written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Possesses strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal and project management skills.

  • Detail oriented and process driven.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

  • Ability to flourish in an entrepreneurial company in a matrixed environment.

  • Intermediate experience executing routine data-driven activities such as data stewardship of a master data management platform.

  • Intermediate experience working hands on with a variety of data sources and formats including spreadsheets and databases.

  • Intermediate experience working with MS Excel, PowerPoint and other common communication and analytical tools.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.

  • Experience with pharmaceutical data is a plus.

  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Veeva is a plus.

  • Experience executing standard, data-driven processes.

  • Possesses an understanding of data quality review processes and the ability to update processes as needed.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $77,800.00-$112,750.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
