Job Summary

 

This role oversees instructional duties of lecture and laboratory courses as assigned, planning for laboratory equipment and set-up for the laboratory courses an maintaining stock solutions in the 100 and 200 level laboratory courses. The successful candidate will also assist in other laboratory courses as required for chemicals and supplies. 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate Chemistry courses
  • Coordinating undergraduate  Chemistry Laboratories
  • Other duties as assigned by the Department of Chemistry
  • Serve on departmental & university-wide committees 

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum:

  • A Chemistry Ph.D. degree is required with experience in higher education

Preferred:

  • Applicants should have experience with Chemistry Laboratory operations and requirements, software applications and experience with BANNER, Moodle, and Canvas.
  • Assistant Professor of Chemistry/Laboratory Coordinator
