Position Title: Director of UX/UI
Position Purpose:
As Director of UX/UI, you will be leading and representing a team of managers and UX/UI Designers to solve problems and create omnichannel experiences to improve the lives of pets, pet parents and Petco Partners
You will be the link between the team and Petco's ecosystem and an advocate within the organization to foster our Design Culture and principles
Essential Job Functions:
- Define frameworks and strategies for the team
- Advocate for consistency in the Petco ecosystem
- Speak on behalf of the team across the organization
- Link the team to Petco's ecosystem
- Influence projects outside of team's domain
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- You clearly communicate the goals to the team
- You create a feedback oriented culture
- You have the ability to match individual's strengths, pasison, and experience with the right opportunities within the organization
- You can define and enable processes / tools for the team
- You are able to identify opportunities within the ecosystem
- You can stitch end to end experiences across all touch points
- You can set a vision on how to incorporate support skills to elevate experiences
- You are able to demonstrate the value of design, helping non-designers understand its impact across the organization
- People want to learn from you
Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience
- 4+ years of successfully leading people and teams

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
$163,100.00 - $244,600.00/ year
