Join the rehabilitation team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as an Inpatient Physical Therapist, and partner with our dynamic team at this Level 1 Trauma Center and certified Stoke center to treat a wide variety of cases to include wound care. The ideal candidate will put themselves in the patient's shoes, and partner with this passionate team to provide excellent care to our local population.
The Physical Therapist (inpatient) at Mercy provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.
Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
* Demonstrated ability to accurately evaluate, assess, and treat physical therapy patients
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California
* Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience:
* Fast paced experience working in an acute care setting
* Skills working in a level 1 Trauma Center
