Job Description:

Bunker Hill Community College is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Special Programs Coordinator in Student Financial Services (Financial Aid) who will work within the Student Financial Services and in conjunction with the Student Central (one stop office) teams. The Senior Special Programs Coordinator is responsible for the administration of state financial aid for MASFA applicants, manages all aspects of financial aid administration for a small caseload of FAFSA filers, completes state aid awarding, adjustments, and compliance reporting for last dollar scholarship programs, such as Mass Reconnect and Mass Educate.  This is a hybrid position.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:


Requirements:

  • Master's degree required; with 3 years' experience in student financial aid or equivalent combination of higher education experience and education.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial aid management software and systems.
  • Experience administering Massachusetts state financial aid programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $68,201.00 - $73,477.00 Actual Salary will be Commensurate with Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full State Benefits.

Grade: 5 Unit-Professional position
