About Hope Alliance:
Hope Alliance is a nonprofit organization committed to providing trauma-informed services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. The Case Management Advocate works closely with survivors to offer advocacy, case management, and crisis intervention, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to move forward in their healing journey.

Position Overview:
The Case Management Advocate provides individualized services to adult and child survivors, focusing on hotline assistance, case management, and legal advocacy. The role includes collaborating with community partners, facilitating support groups, and responding to emergencies during on-call shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Advocacy & Case Management:

  • Provide hotline, intake, crisis intervention, and case management services to survivors, assessing their emotional, physical, and social needs.
  • Develop individualized service plans for clients, ensuring their best interests are met.
  • Facilitate support groups and educational programs for adults and children, serving as a positive role model for parent-child interactions.
  • Actively connect clients with community resources, including social services, mental health, and legal support, to create a continuum of care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding to survivors in community settings such as hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and other social service organizations.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with staff and team members to fulfill the agency’s mission, vision, and philosophy.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to discussions on improving services and outcomes for clients.
  • Assist in recruiting and training volunteers and interns, supporting the organization's community education efforts.
  • Collect and maintain data for statistical and programmatic purposes.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Report any incidents of child or elder abuse to the appropriate team members and authorities.
  • Ensure all client interactions are in compliance with confidentiality standards and organizational policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with training and certification requirements, including State Certification Training, continuing education, and service hours.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field; relevant experience may be substituted.
  • 3 years of experience providing victim services to adults and children, ideally in a residential setting.
  • Familiarity with social services, mental health, and criminal justice agencies in Williamson County and Central Texas.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cultural sensitivity skills.
  • Proficiency in email and productivity software products.
  • Completion of State Certification Training within 90 days of hire and maintaining certification through continuing education and service hours.

  • Regular sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent data entry and speaking with staff and clients.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 30 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Case management: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
