Position Overview

The Department of Earth & Chemical Sciences at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors in Geo and Marine Sciences for the Spring beginning January 27, 2025. These positions are to teach Introductory Courses in Geology and Marine Sciences.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Geology, Marine Science, Environmental Science or related field.  
  • Demonstrated prior teaching experience at the college level.
  • Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required. 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Teaching experience in any of the following: General education courses in Environmental Science, Marine Science, or Geosciences.
