The Facilities Project Manager and Designer will assist in the strategic and design aspects of collections, public, and employee spaces in all of our Libraries and managed spaces. You will report to the Director of Library Facilities and work within the Library Facilities department, which consists of six members. We oversee 800,000 square feet of space in four primary buildings. The Library Facilities department evolves regularly to respond to the needs of the campus and support the mission of the Library by taking on new tasks, improving and adapting workflows, and engaging in both maintenance and responsive design for spaces.

As part of the Library Facilities team, you will assist in addressing maintenance needs and support the Director of Library Facilities in coordinating infrastructure projects in Library managed spaces. The Facilities department works collaboratively with Library and campus departments on needs related to space management and building or room-level maintenance.

Additional Information

The work requirements for this position allow for hybrid work, which is both onsite and remote work. Occasionally, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently at the discretion of management or the job requirements.
