JOB TITLE:
Open Rank Tenure-Track Professor of Finance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Accounting and Finance in the College of Business at the University of Wyoming invites applications for an open rank tenure-track faculty position in Finance beginning Fall 2025. We invite applicants with qualifications to teach and conduct research in any finance discipline.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the strong teaching reputation of the department’s faculty and publish high-quality peer-reviewed research in finance and closely related fields. For distinguished candidates with specialization in Banking and Financial Services, funding for an endowed professorship may be available.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field in hand by start date of employment
Demonstrated potential for research publication in high-quality finance journals
Three or more years of university teaching experience in finance or having completed a Ph.D. within the last three years
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Evidence of ongoing high-quality research productivity
Demonstrated excellence in teaching
Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP, CPA, etc.)
Commitment to departmental, college, university, and professional service
