Job Description
Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily huddles
- Fill in as needed for call-ins, vacations, etc. and relieve individuals for breaks
- Review recaps and summaries from previous shifts
- Perform startup, shutdown, and pre-operational inspections
- Create and modify daily schedule & manage LOA and absenteeism
- Complete weekly crewing
- Complete all assigned PM (Maintenance & sanitation)
- Understand the discipline policy and beable to issue discipline
- Responsible for wearing proper PPE, complying with all safety training, policies, and procedures, and reporting any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/ Management
- Effectively communicate verbally and in written format
- Promote open communication within the team and to leadership
- Assists leadership with employee development through recognition, performance reviews/feedback, coaching, training, and correction action
- Works closely with the Maintenance team to monitor all equipment
- Perform daily titrations and ensure chemicals are at the correct concentration
- Monitors daily Behavioral Observations of Safety completion and conducts risk assessments with the team when necessary
- Fosters a safe working environment, immediately communicates and addresses safety concerns with the entire team, and ensures adherence to safety standards
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ensure documentation completion
- Daily document review & verification.
- Participate and collaborate in meetings.
- Participate in the KHMS audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
- Ensure daily data entry into local and corporate databases, such as OEE, PSS, RSS, MSS, My Program, task lists
- SOWI, Pre-op Inspection, Performance Monitoring document review and updates
- Ordering and receiving of goods, Ariba, SAP
- Training Matrix, Scheduling
- TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to train others on all jobs of the team
- Execute the training plan for all new employees to the team
- Ensure completion of all required compliance training each month
- Training others and filling in for other positions as assigned.
- Trains team members to identify defects, make minor adjustments to equipment, and to assist with startup/changeovers & shutdowns
- GENERAL/HR/SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Safety inspections
- Understand and know how to do a Gemba walk
- Perform 5S audit
- Comply with all company policies and general safety rules while performing duties.
- Perform other duties incidental to ajob as assigned by thesupervisor.
- Know, understand, and comply with Kraft Heinz Environmental Policy.
- Reduce Kraft Heinz's Environmental footprint.
- Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Candidates must be available to work thethird shift, including Sundays, holidays, and plant shutdowns
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
- Sanitation experience: 2 years is preferred
