Assistant Pitching Coach- Women's Softball, Part-Time, Non-Benefited PositionSummary of Position
Reporting to the Head Coach the successful candidate will assist with the administration and organization of the program that competes in the Little East Conference at the NCAA Division III level.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist with preparing, scheduling, and organizing of daily practice with a focus on pitching sessions; assisting with in-game preparation for competition and off-season training; assisting pitchers with everyday drills, focusing on both the physical and mental aspects of pitching; recruiting of prospective student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA, Little East Conference, and Keene State College policies and procedures; promoting the program both on and off campus and complying with all NCAA Division III rules and regulations; provide general advising, mentoring and support to student-athletes, specifically in the realm of academics; when necessary, engaging in consultation with athletic training personnel to maximize the safety and wellness of student-athletes; demonstrating concern for the overall welfare of student athletes at all times; engaging in ethical decision-making and outstanding sportsmanship; executing all these responsibilities in a manner that reflects an ongoing commitment to the excellence, integrity and success of the Women’s Softball program, of the Department of Athletics, and Keene State College.
