Purpose The Stephen M. Ross School of Business is launching an Online MBA Program in September 2019. We are currently seeking a part-time Instructional Support Specialist to support the TO 720 for the Winter A 2025(Jan-Feb). The online program will include both asynchronous (on-demand) course material and synchronous (classroom) sessions. This individual will support both the Faculty Lead of the course and students.
The ISS may also work in advance of the course offering to assist in the administrative tasks of course development:
Course Description
This course offers a general manager's perspective on key issues in designing and managing end-to-end global supply chains. Students will develop an understanding of key drivers of supply chain performance, including management of material, information and end global supply financial flows, and their interrelationships with business strategy and other functions within the company as well as across firm boundaries. They will understand the importance risk management in the extended global supply chain and learn the key elements of a robust risk management system and develop execution plans. Finally, the course will discuss how new (digital) technological developments impact global supply chain efficiency and effectiveness and deliver competitive advantage.

Additional Information
This job posting is for a University of Michigan part-time temporary position. The duration of this position will be from Jan 2025 to mid-March 2025 with the opportunity for repeated employment each time the course is taught. Total hours estimated at 60-90 hours for the duration of the course, exact cadence to be determined by Faculty Lead.
