Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer

Key Role:

Manage classified Government Special Access Programs and oversee the day-to-day operations of a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF). Provide support in clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security. Provide alarm response for controlled areas associated with special access programs.Ensure the facility is compliant with ICD 705 requirements and is inspection ready.Manage SAPF modifications, including leading the development of Construction Security Plans, Fixed Facility Checklist, and TEMPEST addendum as needed. Coordinate with Program Security Officers, construction companies, and company leadership. Facilitate the receipt and review of personnel Pre-Screen Questionnaires and the development of program access request packages and other related security documentation. Conduct highly sensitive security briefings, coordinate and facilitate security education programs, manage day-to-day activities of the secure facility, develop security plans, review program documentation, provide feedback on appropriate marking guidance, and ensure security policy compliance. Act as the primary liaison with company management, internal functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders providing personnel, industrial, and physical security subject matter expertise for company and government needs. Address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding issues, report preparation, and other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer or security specialist administering security for SAPs

  • Experience with SCI or SAP programs, JADE, and DISS

  • Experience implementing ICD 704 and 705 and DoD Security Instructions

  • Experience with secure facility modifications

  • Knowledge of SAPF modification processes and procedures

  • Knowledge of government classified contracting process and DD254 execution

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in development of security volume responses to government Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals for classified contracts

  • Experience in developing and deploying program security strategies for existing programs or new business opportunities

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
