Job Description
SYSTEMS AND SW DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR, Leaders for Global Operations Program, manages the software systems, applications, and instances that are critical to the day-to-day operation of the Leaders for Global Operations and the System Design and Management master’s degree programs. Will be responsible for oversight of essential student and program data management systems, back end of all software, analytical tools, uptime on a legacy student data management system and help to implement and migrate to a new system that better addresses current business needs.
Job Requirements:REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in information technology or at least 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree;ability to manage concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and solve complex IT problems with the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction; attention to detail; outstanding leadership skills with the ability to understand emerging trends in technology and source out technology suppliers, manage projects to time schedules and conflict resolution, and clearly communicate with both cross-functional teams and stakeholders on expectations and status updates in a consistent manner. PREFERRED: technical skills such as Programming (e.g., Java, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, React), Web Administration (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, HTML, CSS, RedHat, Tomcat, AWS), Application Administration, Database Administration (e.g. Oracle, MySQL), AV Support (e.g. Zoom, Panopto, Crestron administration, digital bi-amp control, and live broadcast equipment including camera, switches), and other technologies (e.g. GitHub, Canvas, Zoom and Zoom Rooms, CrashPlan, JAMF); a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a direct IT support role; and experience in academia or higher education. Ability to perform physical tasks that include lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing ladders and stairs.
