Position Highlights:
- Primary Locations: Hesburgh Library, Main and East Entrance Gates, Main Building, Basilica, Snite Museum, and Raclin Murphy Museum of Art
- Shifts Available: Days, Afternoons, and Midnights
- Training: Provided for the following locations: Hesburgh Library, Main and East Entrance Gates, Main Building, Basilica, Snite Museum, and Raclin Murphy Museum of Art
Responsibilities:
- Observe, protect, patrol, and enforce rules to ensure safety
- Provide exceptional customer service, assist visitors with directions and information
- Control access, monitor ingress/egress, lock/unlock doors, and manage alarm systems
- Handle keys, conduct walkthroughs, use radio communication, answer phones, monitor CCTV, and complete paperwork
- Report unusual circumstances and respond to emergencies following established guidelines
- Attend mandatory training sessions
- Stay informed about campus events to assist guests
Requirements:
- Up to 900 hours per year
- Strong customer service background or interest

Minimum Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.
- Work schedule may include a variety of days and hours.
- Availability to work early and late hours along with some holidays is required.
- Availability to work over night hours is preferred for the Hesburgh Library.
- Must be available on football home game Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong customer service and/or retail background is preferred.
