Peraton is seeking a detail oriented Business Associate - Problem Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be worked remotely. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program, for the US Coast Guard (CG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CGs customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving underlying issues within the IT environment, following the ITIL framework. The role requires collaboration across various teams to ensure the root causes of incidents are addressed, reducing the recurrence of problems, and improving overall service quality.

Manage the Problem Management process according to ITIL best practices.
• Identify, analyze, and document the root causes of recurring incidents.
• Coordinate with various IT teams to develop and implement solutions to prevent future incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of problems and resolutions, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report on Problem Management metrics, trends, and performance.
• Ensure that problem management processes are executed in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve high-impact problems quickly and efficiently.
• Develop and deliver training on Problem Management processes to team members and other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years with High School Diploma/equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must have a minimum of a Secret clearance (or higher).
• Experience in Problem Management or a related IT service management role.
• Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL 4 Foundations Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• Experience in continuous improvement or quality management roles.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes.
