Shift Details: Full-time – 40 hours/week
Location: 7625 Metro Blvd, Edina, MN 55439 – Hybrid 2 days in office, 3 days remote
About the job:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing human resources support and leadership to the human resources team by assessing needs, recommending, and implementing practices and policies aligned to organizational strategy and in support of growth. These responsibility areas include employee relations, talent assessment and development, organization/team effectiveness, communication planning and deployment, and legal compliance/risk management.
Essentials:
- Handle all employee relations concerns, including conducting investigations and resolutions.
- Partner with needed resources on legal, federal, and state regulations and laws to mitigate risk for the organization.
- Provide direct support to business leaders, coaching and consulting with them in growing the business.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent development and employment law.
- Ability to influence across levels and partners (e.g., hourly team members, leaders, and SLT).
- Effectively communicate HR policies and practices to all employees.
- Partner with clients and oversee all employee terminations.
- Manage employee surveys for current employees and exiting employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing biases.
- Reviews and makes recommendations to leadership for improvement of the organization's human resources policies, procedures and practices.
- Anticipate and identify changes in unique business/HR needs
- Provide high level of customer service for all employees and clients.
- Participate in special projects, including updates to the employee handbook.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of professional and progressive Human Resource Generalist experience.
- Bachelor's (Preferred) equivalent of minimum five (5) years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources principles, concepts, employment law.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build relationships quickly to act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written communication.
- Work well in a team environment, exhibit strong team leadership, and provide inspiration.
- Ability to work with a diverse population of individuals by using tact, diplomacy, and cultural care.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, teams and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of UKG (previously UltiPro) HRIS program preferred.
