Job Description
FMCC is seeking candidates for a Full-time Admissions Counselor position in our Admissions Office. Responsibilities include the recruitment of incoming students, developing leads through
prospective student inquiry, providing information about the campus and college program offerings, managing the admissions process, overseeing campus visits and tours
Salary: $45,996 (39-week contract) - Additional compensation opportunities available during summer
months.

Summary of Duties:
• Be responsible for the recruitment of special populations including but not limited to high school students/graduates, local residents, out of county residents, members of community organizations and business and industry employees.
• Develop, maintain and nurture a program of visits to high schools/vocational schools, area employers, and specialized community organizations/agencies. Provide evening services as assigned.
• Be responsible for follow-up of recruited students. Reviews applicant materials for completeness. Exercises professional discretion with regard to decisions involving recruitment and admissions matters.
• Assist the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management in the development of policies and procedures as they affect the Admissions office.
• Be responsible for special projects and events as assigned by the Associate Dean.
• Serve as the liaison between Admissions and Financial Aid.
• Perform other incidental duties related to those that are listed above
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
