Lincoln Land Community College is seeking Student Workers to provide essential support in the areas of reception, phone management, and data tracking.
Student Workers will perform the following duties:

- Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Direct visitors to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently
- Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up.
- Provide general information and respond to inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Assist in maintaining and updating databases and records.
- Enter and verify data accurately.
- Perform general office tasks, inclunding filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
- Support team members with various projects and tasks as needed
All LLCC Student Workers have the following institutional responsibilities:
- Uphold LLCC’s mission, as well as certain standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty and the general public.
- Responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulations with regard to confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records.
Student Workers will be paid minimum wage and will be scheduled to work up to 20 hours per week, flexible hours Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, at the main campus. Students eligible for Federal-Work Study are encouraged to apply.
Requirements include the following:
- Must maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, with the exception of summer term
- Complete LLCC’s mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employment
- Minimum GPA 2.0
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must have the ability to work with diverse students and populations
- Computer competency and telephone skills preferred
If working with minors, employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
