Family Builders is a non-profit, licensed foster care and adoption agency, whose mission is to build permanent families for children and youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. SUMMARY:
We have an immediate opening for a Development Director to provide leadership in carrying out the agency’s mission. The current development program is made up of foundation, government support, events and individual donors. The Development Director writes grant proposals and reports; cultivates current and prospective donors; and manages agency marketing and branding, including social media. The Development Director coordinates agency events, including executing an annual fundraising event.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Five years of development experience is required. Candidates must have exceptional writing skills. Preference will be given to candidates with progressive experience in fund development and a successful track record in grant writing, fundraising, including donor solicitation, social media marketing and related technology.
