Job Description

The Labry School of Business seeks a well-qualified adjunct professor to teach courses in international marketing, marketing management, and digital marketing in support of the Cumberland University MBA program.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Subject matter expertise in digital marketing and marketing management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal/intrapersonal skills, especially in engaging with traditional and non-traditional university students.
  • Evidence of high level of personal agency and initiative.
  • Ability to advise and mentor students regarding educational and career goals.
  • Successful use of multiple creative instructional strategies and technologies in the classroom and online to improve the educational outcomes of diverse learners.
  • Demonstrated background in working with diverse groups of colleagues and constituents to collaboratively maintain and improve programming.

Experience
Evidence of rigorous, creative, and effective teaching at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability to deliver courses on-ground and online.

Education
Completed doctoral degree in Business with 18 graduate hours in Marketing and related courses.

Additional Information
Available fall and spring semesters on-site at the main campus in Lebanon, TN.
