With supervisor guidance independently provide instruction focusing on basic shop and construction skills; commercial and residential property maintenance; mechanical equipment; plumbing/piping; HVAC topics; and related systems/subjects.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma/GED and five years’ experience in commercial or residential property maintenance required. Associate degree and/or completion of a registered apprenticeship program preferred. Teaching/training experience in commercial/facility/residential maintenance preferred. Current credentials related to any of the following areas preferred: commercial/facility/residential maintenance, contracting, safety, construction, environmental, HVAC, and stationary engineering (any grade). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
