GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Lead Engineer, Cellular RF Systems is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of cellular radio frequency (RF) systems. They will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop and maintain cellular RF systems for various wireless products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and optimize cellular RF systems for wireless products.
  • Lead a team of engineers to ensure that RF systems are designed and optimized for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain RF system requirements and specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, to ensure that RF systems are integrated and evaluated properly.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure that RF components and modules are selected and integrated properly.
  • Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for RF systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot RF system issues and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for RF systems and provide training to other engineers and stakeholders, as necessary.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in RF technology.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and optimizing cellular RF systems.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers to develop RF systems.
  • Strong understanding of cellular network architecture and protocols.
  • Experience with RF simulation tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.

Pay grade range: $136,000-$213,333.33
