Role: Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, or a combination of Human Resources and business operations experience, with a strong track record of strategic HR consulting in support of business objectives. Must have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and experience implementing employee and change management strategies.
Preferred Experience: SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
Salary Range: $82,632.63 - $131,997.59. Please note the typical hiring range is $95,000 - $115,500 annually. A different range may apply based on your work location. Location: United States. The role can be based in over 40 states. Remote. Candidates located in Washington, D.C. or near Federal Way, WA will go into the office occasionally throughout the year.
Travel: The ability to do domestic travel, no more than three times a year.

01 The Job As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as the Strategic Human Resources (HR) lead and HR primary point of contact for the International Programs Group (IPG) and assigned client group. Provide integrated and strategic partnership to identify talent needs and HR strategies for assigned division. Must be able to understand business priorities and translate them into a people agenda that supports the ministry. Bring the “voice of the customer” to other HR functions to ensure best programs and approaches meet organization needs. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Serve as the division-level HR lead, with a dotted line reporting to Division Sr. Vice President. Responsible for understanding the desired business outcomes and business cycle of the division.
- Partner with SVP and their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the division and HR strategies that foster growth, drive results, and increase organizational effectiveness.
- Proactively create and integrate end-to-end talent solutions within the workforce that accelerate team health and productivity.
- Diagnose issues, using data and insights to develop long-term solutions and influence outcomes.
- As HR lead, responsible for liaising and partnering with crucial HR points of contact and services to deliver high-quality, effective, long-term solutions and programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).

- Organizational Awareness: Understands business operations and the mission, work and priorities of the organization. Applies understanding of organization's informal structure, culture and climate in achieving goals.
- Employment and Staffing Knowledge: Applies recruitment principles, practices and laws including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement. Skilled in behavioral and other interviewing techniques, testing and assessment centers.
04 Salary Range & Benefits Your salary is important to you so it’s important to us. The full salary range is $82,632.63 - $131,997.59. Please note the typical hiring range is $95,000 - $115,500 annually. The salary range applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
