The Muni Operations Manager will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of operations and sales to lead teams of project managers and client services managers to profitable growth. Under the direction of the Area Director, the Muni Operations Manager will be responsible for the performance of the portfolio of projects, clients and pursuits included in a specific office geography. The Muni Operations Manager will be a key contributor and member of the Area Leadership Team.

Detailed Description:

Expectations and key responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership - serve as Project Manager or Principal in Charge on several projects and drive project performance metrics in alignment with Area operations goals.
  2. Project Portfolio Management - manage project portfolio in partnership with Area Director and Area Project Delivery leader - responsible for achieving project performance metrics in alignment with Area, Business Unit and Company objectives. Lead project managers to successful project performance.
  3. Project Resource Management - work with other Muni Operations Managers, Design Center leadership, and Area Director to manage project resources.
  4. Sales leadership - Serve as Client Service Manager and Sales Leader for top clients/pursuits. Improve win rates and support training of the sales teams by engaging directly with key clients and leading top pursuits.
  5. Client/Pursuit Portfolio Management - manage sales portfolio in partnership with Area Growth Leader and Area Marketing Manager - responsible for achieving contracted sales metrics in alignment with Area, Business Unit and Company growth objectives. Hold client service managers and sales team members accountable to their contracted sales goals and BD budgets.
  6. Staff Recruitment and Development - serve as supervisor and work with Area Director and HR Business Partner to implement recruitment plans and development/succession plans for rising professionals, project managers, supervisors, client service managers, sales leaders, etc.
  7. Local Lead Role - Work with HR Business Partner and Office Admin to model BC values and serve as an extension of the BU/Area Leadership to manage office and convey important Company information and promote initiatives with all employees assigned to office.

  • Ability to interpret operational data to inform business strategy to comply with Area performance metrics.
  • Strategic, critical thinker with a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location B:

Salary: $172,000 - $236,000
