Moraga Campus
An overview of the special opportunities and risks firms face as a result of the rapid globalization of business. The course emphasizes the economic, cultural, and institutional factors that managers must consider when conducting business in foreign countries. Students will study and become familiar with global marketing, finance, and managerial strategies that lead to success in off-shore markets.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Strategy or Entrepreneurship or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A Masters degree in Strategy or Entrepreneurship or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
- Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, who have previously taught the course or BUSAD 180, availableavailable here.
