Summary

We are looking for 2-3 employees who can join our delivery team part-time, up to 29 hours a week. This job would involve assisting with catering deliveries across the Ann Arbor campus. Primary responsibilities include collecting food and drinks from the catering kitchen, delivering food to the correct location, and connecting with the client to finalize the delivery.

Catering Delivery Drivers start at $15.50 an hour but experienced drivers will earn up to $18 an hour.
Schedule will be weekdays, 6:00AM-2:00PM and/or 10:00AM-6:00PM. Schedule requires working an 8 hour shift with appropriate breaks.

Responsibilities*

  • Operate single unit University motor vehicles, such as vans, pick-up trucks, and straight back delivery trucks
  • Accurately read and understand catering contracts
  • Communicate with catering managers and chefs regarding any questions on catering contracts
  • Able to navigate the Ann Arbor campus safely and effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Required Qualifications*

  • Must have a valid driver's license with minimal points
  • High School Diploma
  • Able to pass a background check

Salary may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and education of the selected candidate.

Relocation will not be offered for this position.
